DJ Animate
Animate was exposed to dance music from an early age. Pioneers of the genre such as Leftfield, Orbital, The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy are just some of the inspirations that helped him develop his passion for electronic music.
Growing up on the outskirts of London, Animate was a mere child when Drum and Bass took it’s earliest forms. Hearing mixes from the likes of LTJ Bukem, Goldie and Omni Trio are what helped shape him into the DJ he is today.
Once adulthood took course he made the most of his time in nightclubs by studying the craft of mixing, but it wasn’t until 2 years ago that he began to take up the art-form himself.
Now located in Melbourne, he looks to deliver creative and diverse mixes with nothing but the freshest beats available.
